SSMS Math

6th grade math is designed to introduce skills, concepts, and assessment methods to prepare students for success in future math courses.  Topics will be studied with the goal to expand the student’s knowledge of mathematical processes, numbers and operations (including decimals, fractions, and the coordinate plane), proportionality, measurement and data, expressions, equations, relationships, and personal financial literacy. Students taking this course should have strong independent study/work habits.
